The above article is a in this participant's view a possible potentiality in many western and perhaps some non western nations as well.
The deployment of the army to rigdidly and physically enforce compliance of state policies in select areas of a city or region against marginialised communities, while allowing the majority populations to remain as they are, in a liberal democracy is alien to its conceptual definition and new, but likely to stay.
There is, in my view, a larger than likely chance it will spiral into some of the following nations-
The UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, Italy, USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden.
The non western nations that may follow that same direction in my opinion may include-
Myanmar (against the Rohingya), Thailand (against the Cham people), Sri Lanka (against Hindus, Muslims and Christians) and some others which I won't name just yet.
